"EASY
DAY"
designed by Kaj Franck for Sarvis, Finland
In
1976 Kaj Franck designed the "Easy Day" ("Pitopöytä")
tableware series for the Finnish plastics company Sarvis Oy and proved
that plastic as a material did not compromise design. The production of
"Easy Day"-series began 1977 and continued until 1985. - This
series
of tableware comprised bowls, plates, sups and cutlery, and it has been
purchased for the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York
and the Louvre in Paris. Material:
dishwasher-safe, heat-resistant (-40ºC-+125ºC) SUN-
or MF-plastic in 6 colors: black, white, red, yellow, beige and green.
