"EASY DAY"

designed by Kaj Franck
for Sarvis, Finland

In 1976 Kaj Franck designed the "Easy Day" ("Pitopöytä") tableware series for the Finnish plastics company Sarvis Oy and proved that plastic as a material did not compromise design. The production of "Easy Day"-series began 1977 and continued until 1985.
- This series of tableware comprised bowls, plates, sups and cutlery, and it has been purchased for the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Louvre in Paris.
Material: dishwasher-safe, heat-resistant (-40ºC-+125ºC) SUN- or MF-plastic in 6 colors: black, white, red, yellow, beige and green.
